ENTER THE 2020 AWARDS
The GG2 Leadership Awards recognise and reward high achievers within black, Asian and ethnic minorities groups and celebrate the very best of multicultural Britain. The awards will be presented at the 22nd annual GG2 Leadership Awards on Thursday 28th January 2021.
For the first time this year, the awards will be virtual.
Nominations are now closed. Entries received now will not be considered.
GG2 Spirit in the Community Award sponsored by Royal Navy
Awarded to an individual or organisation for outstanding work in the community.
GG2 Media & Creative Arts Award sponsored by Hearst
Awarded for exemplary achievement in the creative industries.
GG2 Achievement through Adversity
Awarded to an individual who has achieved a high level of success despite difficult circumstances.
GG2 Outstanding Achievement in Sport
Presented to a sportsperson for their outstanding achievement and who has inspired others.
GG2 Outstanding Achievement in Science
Awarded to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the world of science.
GG2 Woman of the Year sponsored by Edwardian Hotels London
Awarded to an individual for consistent high achievement.
GG2 Man of the Year
Awarded to an individual for consistent high achievement.
GG2 Young Journalist of the Year
Awarded for outstanding work in the media.
The GG2 Young Journalist of the Year Award is open to all journalists age 30 and under who has proved to be outstanding in print, online, radio or television journalism. The winner is entitled to an optional work experience placement at the Daily Mail newspaper.
GG2 Inspire Award sponsored by The British Army
Presented to an individual or organisation for outstanding work in the community, which has served to inspire young people.
GG2 Young Achiever Award sponsored by Royal Air Force
Presented to a young person aged 35 or under who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, brings about change and who is an inspiration to communities.
GG2 Social Entrepreneur Award
Awarded to a cause-driven individual or organisation who has made an outstanding and meaningful contribution to society.
GG2 Outstanding Achievement in Law
Awarded to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the legal profession.
GG2 Pride of Britain Award
Awarded to an individual for their outstanding contribution to society.
GG2 Hammer Award
Awarded to an individual who has broken through the glass ceiling.
